FCL (Full Container Load)

FCL (Full Container Load) refers to a shipping arrangement where an entire container is exclusively dedicated to the shipment of goods belonging to a single party or person, occupying the full capacity of the container. Unlike LCL (Less than Container Load), which combines multiple smaller shipments from different parties into a single container, FCL provides the advantage of enhanced security, reduced handling, and potentially faster transit times since the container is not shared with other consignments. FCL is commonly used when the shipper has a sufficient volume of goods to fill an entire container or prefers the convenience and control of having their shipment contained within a single unit.
