Liftgate

A liftgate is a mechanical device that is affixed to the rear of a truck, primarily designed to facilitate the unloading process. It consists of a platform that can be raised or lowered hydraulically or through other mechanical means. The liftgate is used to bridge the gap between the truck bed and the ground, allowing for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of heavy or bulky items. This device eliminates the need for manual lifting or the use of additional equipment like forklifts or ramps. Liftgates are especially beneficial in situations where the delivery destination lacks proper loading docks or when handling goods that require extra care during the unloading process.
