Notify Party

The notify party refers to the individual or organization designated to receive communication and be informed when a shipment reaches its designated destination. This party can vary and may include the shipper, customs broker, freight forwarder, intermediary, or any other assigned entity responsible for handling the shipment. The primary role of the notify party is to be contacted and notified about the arrival of the shipment, enabling them to initiate necessary actions such as customs clearance processes. By designating a notify party, effective communication and coordination can be established, ensuring smooth logistics operations and timely handling of the shipment upon its arrival at the specified destination.
