Notes on the customs declaration and cargo insurance

  • The import and export regulations of countries are different. For example, if the private use accessory is sent to the UK and the cargo value is higher than EUR5000, it cannot be imported directly through international express. If you have any questions, you can contact FreightAmigo CS for details!
  • When sending valuables, the customs at the destination will check the shipment and audit the amount of duties & VAT according to the value, type, quantity and purpose of the item. If necessary, the local customs will contact the consignee through the courier company, ask him/her to submit the required documents and pay taxes for customs clearance purpose. After the customs clearance procedures are completed, the shipment will be released smoothly and the delivery process will continue.
  • If you are sending handmade accessories, you can simply input the cargo value as the cost of the raw materials.
  • When sending high-valued accessories by international courier service, FreightAmigo recommends that customer purchases additional cargo insurance for better protection~
