Shanghai-Hong Kong Cooltainer Shipment in 3 Days
FreightAmigo was assigned to handle the 32 cooltainers shipment. Each of them can hold about 4 standard US pallets (1219mm x 1016mm). These containers are huge, taking a 40-foot container as an example, it can only hold four. Therefore, the 32 cooltainers were placed in 8 separate 40-foot containers. In the end, it took 3 days to arrive at the Hong Kong port from Shanghai via sea freight.

As Shanghai covid cases bounce back, port could only provide limited services. This greatly affect the cargo capacity of Shanghai. Last mile delivery of Cooltainers
Missing loading bay was another challenge in this shipment. All 40’ containers could not be delivered straightaway to our client’s address as loading bay could not be found at the shipping address. Therefore when 40’ containers arrived at HK port, FreightAmigo arranged last mile delivery for our client. All cooltainers were unloaded and stabilized onto flat cars before departing to their final destination!
