Restrictions on Exporting Alcoholic Beverages from Hong Kong

A passenger aged 18 or above is allowed to bring into Hong Kong, for his own use, 1 litre of alcoholic liquor with an alcoholic strength above 30% by volume measured at a temperature of 20℃ exempted from duty

Restrictions on Alcoholic Beverages in Different Countries

United Kingdom	-- Alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content exceeding 35% require additional taxes. -- Only wine can be shipped. -- The recipient is responsible for paying taxes.
United States	-- Only 27 states allow the shipment of alcohol within their local borders, and each state has its own restrictions. -- Beer and spirits cannot be shipped to the United States.
Japan	-- When declaring the shipment, "Personal Use" must be indicated and it cannot be intended for resale. -- The weight cannot exceed 10kg. -- If the value is less than or equal to 10,000 yen, it is exempt from taxes. If it exceeds 10,000 yen, taxes will be levied based on the type of alcohol.
Taiwan	-- Alcoholic beverages for personal use cannot exceed 5 liters.
Singapore	-- When declaring the shipment, "Personal Use" must be indicated and it cannot be intended for resale. -- The shipment cannot exceed 5 liters. -- A formal receipt must be provided for customs declaration, which should also include the HS Code (Harmonized System code) of the alcohol.
