Inventory Linked

Inventory linking refers to the integration of customs computer systems with multiple ports and airports across the United Kingdom. This connection allows for seamless coordination and data sharing between these facilities and the customs authorities. By being inventory linked, ports and airports are equipped to efficiently manage the arrival, departure, and presentation of goods on behalf of Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC). With this system in place, the inventory-linked ports and airports can streamline customs processes, enhance operational efficiency, and facilitate accurate tracking and monitoring of goods throughout the import and export procedures.
