Utilisation Rate

Utilisation Rate refers to the extent to which a company or organization uses its available resources. It is a key performance indicator in various contexts: Manufacturing: The percentage of production capacity that is actually being used. For example, if a factory operates at 80% utilisation, it means 80% of its production potential is being utilized. Workforce: The proportion of available working hours that employees are productively engaged in their tasks. Equipment: The ratio of time that machinery or equipment is in active use compared to its total available time.
