Blind Shipment

A blind shipment is a method used to conceal the identity of the original manufacturer or seller from the customer. This type of shipment is often requested by distributors who want goods to be shipped directly from the manufacturer to the customer without revealing the supplier’s information. It can also be used to hide the involvement of third parties in the shipping process. To achieve a blind shipment, the third party’s details are removed from the shipping label and replaced with the vendor’s information, ensuring that the customer remains unaware of the true source of their order. By maintaining anonymity and protecting supplier relationships, blind shipments provide a means for sellers and distributors to fulfil orders while keeping the customer unaware of the origin of the goods.
