The Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders has developed a set of rules known as NSAB (Nordisk Speditørforbunds Almindelige Bestemmelser) that govern the liability of freight forwarders under various international transport law conventions, such as the Scandinavian Freight Forwarders’ Standard Trading Conditions (SIM), the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR), the Hague-Visby Rules for the carriage of goods by sea, and the Warsaw Convention for the international carriage of passengers and goods by air. The Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders is a coalition of unions from Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, and is a member of FIATA, the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations, the global organization representing the freight forwarding industry.
