Watercraft

Watercraft broadly refers to any vehicle or craft used for traveling on water, whether manually powered, sail-driven, or engine-powered. Types of watercraft include:

Boats: Smaller crafts generally designed for local or coastal travel. Examples include fishing boats, sailboats, and speedboats.
Ships: Larger sea-going vessels designed for carrying cargo or passengers over long distances across oceans.
Personal Watercraft (PWC): These are motorized water vehicles, like Jet Skis, designed for individual use or small groups, primarily used for recreation.
Each type of watercraft is designed with specific uses in mind, influencing its size, construction, and the technology on board.
