Live Unload

A live unload refers to the process of unloading a truck or container directly at the delivery location while the driver remains present on-site. During a live unload, the driver waits nearby while the unloading takes place. Once the truck or container is emptied, the driver will return to their vehicle and either move it to the yard or leave the premises. This method allows for immediate unloading and minimizes the waiting time for the driver, ensuring a more efficient and timely delivery process. Live unloads are commonly used in situations where it is necessary to unload goods directly at the destination without the need for additional handling or storage.
