The consignor entrusts the goods to another party, known as the consignee, who acts as a middleman. The consignor is the party sending a shipment to be delivered, whether by land, sea, or air. Goods sent by the consignor are carried and stored at the risk of the consignor. The consignor is responsible for providing necessary documents related to the shipment.
