Discharge Port

The discharge port refers to the specific location where a ship or aircraft unloads its cargo or shipments. It is the point at which the goods are discharged from the vessel or aircraft and made available for further transport or delivery to their respective consignees. The discharge port may coincide with the port of destination, where the cargo is ultimately intended to be delivered. However, it is important to note that the discharge port and the port of destination can be different in certain cases, especially when cargo needs to be transshipped or further transported to its final destination via other means of transportation.
