V-hull

A V-hull refers to the shape of a boat or ship’s hull, which is designed in a V configuration when viewed from the front or rear. This design is characterized by a sharp entry at the bow and a V-shaped cross-section. The V-hull design offers several advantages:

Improved Stability: It cuts through waves more efficiently, providing a smoother ride in choppy waters.
Better Handling: Offers improved maneuverability and control at higher speeds.
Reduced Slamming: The V-shape helps to reduce the impact and slamming when the boat hits waves.
This hull design is common in powerboats, speedboats, and some sailboats, especially those that operate in rough or open waters.
