Nested

Nested refers to a specific configuration where three or more different sizes of the same item or commodity are enclosed, with each smaller piece placed within the next larger piece. Alternatively, three or more of the same items must be placed one within the other, ensuring that the top item does not project above the lower item by more than 1/3 of its height. This type of nested arrangement is known as “Nested Solid,” where three or more items are placed on or inside one another, with the external side surfaces of the top item in contact with the internal side surfaces of the item below. Furthermore, the top item must not project above the next lower item by more than 1/2 inch. This nested approach helps optimize space, reduce material usage, and facilitate efficient storage and transportation of the items.
